North Korea leases Sea of Japan port to China

China has been given direct access to the Sea of Japan for the first time since the 19th century, thanks to a lease deal with North Korea.
Goods from previously landlocked areas in China will have access through the port of Rajin, allowing China to enhance its trading with Japan and South Korea.
North Korea agreed to lease the port on its northeastern coast for ten years, after the Chinese requested a deal to boost its regional economy.
Experts have suggested the concession might be a sign of Pyongyang’s greater openness to international cooperation.
China has tried to open its exports through the Sea of Japan for several years, after North Korea designated it a free-trade zone.
Some Russian companies already have rights to use Raijin port.  Email this story to a friend

Asiaism - different format from the past, but good old links without interferences
When these people set their minds to a greater, warmer, more visibly cooperative, honest, collaborative and successful Asia, they will outperform and outshine the rest of the world. This is resurrecting old links, past relationships and celebrating old bonds in a newer, more official, systemic and formal manner. Past relationships, heritage and history are buried assets there and in their favor. If only the westerners and among the Asians themselves are not groundlessly threatened and jealous and be stupidly over-reacting to such moves and misdiagnose them as collusions, then conflicts will be avoided and goodness, lots of them, will emerge and result to benefit this world.

Believe me, ugly people already start planning how to sabotage this new openness in Asia. These people are variously called fork tongue, slave master, sh.t stirrer and have big following in their young generation.

you talk nonsense and collusion. and if asia will 'outperform and outshine' the rest of the world then the fears of westerners are not groundless. Why not extend your 'cooperative, honest and collaborative' philosophy to all the world? As it stands, you advocate racism.

Chinese the underdog will lead the way
It is not too long ago chinese were not allow to own property, even not allowed to bury in proper cemetery in the US due to whatever reason. But hey, their decendant were as productive as other american today, no revenge, no hatred. Do you want more? Today Chinese were not allow to participate in the so call international space station for the same reason, but chinese are smart people to work for their own rising. Very soon chinese will lead the world in space exploration, again without hatred and revenge. Will the west ever learn how to live in harmony?

To a certain extent, Goobma is correct - BUT no racism has been advocated, just certain facts has been neglected. Yes, the rest of the world will have to work even harder at creating a 'greater, warmer, more visibly cooperative, honest, collaborative and successful' network. After all, the ugliest and bloodiest wars and worst human atrocities in terms of scale, numbers of casualties and levels of cruelty and outright racism did happened in Europe and in Russia. The Poles and the Jews got the blunt of that. Is the UN doing the job? If so, why is Europe somewhat healed while Korea is still divided? China not united? India & Pakistan at odds with each other? and Israel & Palestine are still fighting? who is being racist? Are there underlying fears preventing the UN for helping make that happen?
