BOGOTA, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Boca Juniors defender Frank Fabra has been drafted into Colombia's Copa America squad to replace injured left-back Yairo Moreno, the Colombian Football Federation (FCF) said on Tuesday.

Moreno was cut from Colombia's 28-man touring party in Brazil after suffering an unspecified leg muscle injury in the team's 1-0 victory over Ecuador in their Copa America opener on Sunday.

"Defender Frank Fabra is expected to arrive in Brazil on Wednesday to join the group in Goiania," read an FCF statement.

Fabra, who has been capped 22 times for Colombia, last played for the Cafeteros in their 6-1 World Cup qualifying defeat to Ecuador in Quito last November.

Colombia's next Copa America fixture will be against Venezuela in Goiania on Thursday.
