CARACAS, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Everton striker Salomon Rondon and Sampdoria midfielder Tomas Rincon are among 21 players named in Venezuela's squad for 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Uruguay.

Head coach Jose Pekerman also included Atlanta United striker Josef Martinez, Lens goalkeeper Wuilker Farinez and Toronto FC midfielder Yeferson Soteldo for the penultimate double-header of South American qualifiers.

Venezuela will host Bolivia on January 28 before visiting Uruguay on February 1.

The Vinotino are currently last in the 10-team South American zone standings with seven points from 14 matches.

The top four teams will earn an automatic berth in football's showpiece tournament, to be played in Qatar from November 21 to December 18. The fifth-ranked side will advance to an intercontinental playoff.
